About Us

Student-Centered Services (SCS) is made up of successful educators with experience in the Superintendency, Assistant Superintendents, including expertise in District-level Human Resources, Instruction and Business and Finance Services as well as years of building-level experience. Our experience includes leadership positions with the Illinois School Board Association (IASB), the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), the Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA), Legislative Advocacy groups such as Education Research Development (ED-RED) and the Large Unit District Association (LUDA) as well as numerous other regional, state-wide, and national groups. Our partners are award-winning, successful current and past educators who have devoted their careers to serving students. Many of our partners are known for their unique innovations in education, and we bring that spirit as well as local, state and national networks that provide us with as broad a reach as anyone in the market.

Our SCS group of leaders are dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion, and that focus has been evident in the work of our organization’s members throughout their careers, evidenced by actionable work to increase diversity of staff to reflect the needs of the incredibly diverse Districts some of our partners have led. This ground-level work has helped our partners build a vast network of candidates with rich experiences helping improve the lives of students. Our team members come from experiences not just talking about improving outcomes for students – they have proven track records that will help improve your search by having a critical lens with which to evaluate potential candidates in order to ensure that your new Superintendent has the experience she or he needs to lead your District effectively from day one.
